Zoom Talk: Baroness Parminter on Climate Change and Biodiversity – 2021 a year of opportunity

The NLC Commonwealth Forum and European Forum are delighted to announce that the new Chair of the House of Lords Select Committee on the Environment and Climate Change, Baroness Kate Parminter, has agreed to give a Zoom talk on the challenges facing the global community on climate change. This comes ahead of the COP26 (The 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, in Glasgow) and the UN Biodiversity Conference (COP15 in Kunming, China). which provides the global community with further opportunities to galvanize efforts, at all levels to build a better future in harmony with nature, focusing on the upcoming challenges in ensuring global consensus on carbon reduction goals and biodiversity protection.
