Join Westminster Guide Peter Hofford on a walking tour, starting at the Club, and going on to local sites of importance to the struggle for women’s suffrage. The walk includes statues of both Emmeline Pankhurst, Leader of the Women’s Social and Political Union (the Suffragettes) and Millicent Fawcett, Leader of the more moderate Suffragist movement and whose name survives to this day in the campaigning organisation The Fawcett Society.
