Women’s Network Hybrid Talk with Harriet Wistrich

The NLC Women’s Network invites all members and guests to a presentation by Harriet Wistrich. Harriet is the founder and director of the Centre for Women’s Justice and has been a solicitor for 25 years, acting in many high profile cases around violence against women. She recently acted on behalf of the women who challenged the police and parole board in the John Worboys case (known in the press as the taxi rapist). She has also acted for women deceived in relationships by undercover police officers and others appealing murder convictions for killing abusive partners.

For those who come to the Club there is an optional supper and glass of wine for the modest charge of £25 – but for remote members and guests, feel free to join us at 7.00pm on Zoom.
