Biography 
Ashley Boolell is a Mauritian-born financier and writer who holds French and British citizenships. After completing his higher studies in France, he embarked on a career in commodity trading at a French investment bank before moving to the UK in 2013. He considers writing as his second career after finance and has published six novels with the first three written in French and the following three in English. This writing proficiency was facilitated by his deep immersion in both French and Anglophone cultures from a very young age.
Since 2018, he has chaired the French Circle at the National Liberal Club. The circle’s prime responsibility is to promote French culture at the club and welcomes every francophile interested in the circle’s activities.
