Theatre and Arts Circle – Screening of the ballet ‘Tales of Beatrix Potter’

7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Originally devised by Frederick Ashton for a film in 1971, the ballet was later re-created for the stage by Anthony Dowell. With music by Delibes, Offenbach, Donizetti and several other Victorian composers, the ballet features Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, Jemina Puddleduck, Pigling Bland, Hunca Munca, and, of course, Peter Rabbit and Squirrel Nutkin. After the performance, there will be an optional Beatrix Potter-themed dinner in the club Dining Room.

The screening will start at 7.30pm.
