An opportunity to view a screening of Rossini’s comic opera ’Le Comte Ory’

Set in France during the Crusades, the opera tells the story of Count Ory, a deluded aristocrat who thinks he is irresistible to women. His efforts to seduce Countess Adele involve multiple disguises, cross-dressing nuns, and deceptions. However, the Countess’s romantic interests lie elsewhere.

The screening will start at 7.30pm.
