Summer Piano Fantasy in Celeberation the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, and also part of the NLC piano Appeal , we would like to introduce a versatile Artist for this special occasion.
Carlota de Miguel (Pamplona) is a Spanish concert pianist with intense artistic activity. She is one of the most prominent Spanish soloist of her generation, having toured Europe and America. Carlota has performed in England, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Florida and Mexico in recent years. She has given interviews for radio and television and/ have performed as soloist with orchestras such as Navarra Symphony Orchestra.
Carlota passionate about opera and chamber music, this pianist show a great commitment to music written for barroque as well, apart from classical and romanticism. This time Carlota will bring a fantastic range of programme from Scarlatti, Haydn, Granados, Chopin, Rachmaninof, Liszt and Debussy.
Carlota began her career in London and obtained a Bachelor and Master of music in Piano performance at the prestigious Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music, apart from a PhD in University of Navarra in Spain.
Vocalist Beibei Wang is an acclaimed Chinese-born Operatic Soprano, she is the first Chinese artist to be invited to perform as the chief guest artist at the Royal Albert Hall in the Christmas Concert on the 150th anniversary in 2021, one of the world’s most renowned art landmark in London. She also has made her name by excellent interpretation at the title role of Madama Butterfly and the title role of Suor Angelica in London. Beibei has appeared venues, including Palace of Westminster, the O2, Cadogan Hall, Southbank Centre, St John’s Smith Square, Apollo theatre, Hackney Empire, Fishmongers Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, the Mermaid Theatre etc. in repertoire spanning the Bel Canto, Romantic and Verismo styles, and having interviewed and broadcasted by CCTV, China Daily, Nouvelles d’Europe, The BBC and BBC Radio 4.
Graduated from the Department of Vocal Music and Opera from China Xinghai Conservatory of Music with a bachelor’s degree, and then studied traditional Italian opera with the leading opera masters of La Scala in Milan, Italy, such as Maria Luisa Cioni and Nicoletta Zanini, and won many awards and British Conservatoire scholarship, she has completed a master’s degree from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Postgraduate Diploma in Solo performance from the Royal Northern College of Music, and Artist Diploma from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music. Her performances are simple, innocent, and profound.
