Sir Richard Gozney: Nearly 40 years of helping to persuade autocrats and democrats

At the next NLC Commonwealth Forum event the guest speaker will be Sir Richard Gozney, who will give an engaging talk entitled Nearly 40 years of helping to persuade autocrats and democrats.

Sir Richard Gozney KCMG CVO KStJ was Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Bermuda from 2007 to 2012 and served as the Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man (2016 to August 2021). He is a distinguished diplomat, including time as Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Former High Commissioner to Swaziland, Ambassador to Indonesia and High Commissioner to Nigeria.

The event will be chaired by Lord Chidgey and include a vote of thanks from Nicola Williams. Following the meeting the Bar and Dining Room are available for drinks and dinner. To book for dinner please email dining@nlc.org.uk or book online via the NLC website.
