International Women’s Week 2022 – Women and Heritage’ Talks

5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

International Women’s Day celebrations will continue on Friday, 11th March on the subject ‘Women and Heritage Talks’ and prominent and well-known women from the world of art and literature of different backgrounds will talk about their work, profession and their heritage.

The evening will start at 5.30pm followed by a reception at 7pm. The evening will continue at 7.30pm, with a piano concert which is followed by a sit-down dinner.

Speakers:

Xuē Xīnrán, Chinese-British journalist, author, speaker, advocate for women’s issues

Rana Begum, British Bangladeshi artist

Maya Youseff, Syrian musician, composer and a campaigner against sexism in music

Moderator:  Semra Eren-Nijhar, Chair, Sunday Lunch & Heritage Talk Circle

Exhibition: Women and Heritage’ Exhibition Jewellery Exhibition by Josephine De Stael
