Authors’ Club and NLC Literary Circle Read-A-Thon

Join the Author’s Club and NLC Literary Circle in the David Lloyd George Room for a combined Read-A-Thon to raise money for the NLC Piano Appeal and listen to writers of fiction, poetry, travel and memoir, such as Tim Ades, Richard Hamilton, Sue Hubbard, Geoffrey Gudgion, CJ Schuler, Semra Eren-Nijhar, Sunny Singh and John Walsh, read from their latest works. Former NLC Chairman, Janet Berridge, will open the afternoon with an excerpt from Paddy Ashdown’s autobiography.

The Read-A-Thon will be in two parts and have a Cabaret feel with drinks available from a cash bar (all profits going to the Appeal.) There will also be the opportunity to donate to the Fund, buy raffle tickets and the beautifully designed Piano Appeal pins and to bid for silent auction prizes.
