The Real Club Marítimo del Abra and Real Sporting Club is a nautical club located in Guecho, Vizcaya, Spain. Founded in 1898, it had its headquarters in a raft, built in the Nervión Shipyards. Today it is one of the most important sailing clubs in Spain, and is a member of the Spanish Association of Nautical Clubs (AECN).

The Real Casino Antiguo de Castellón has been, since 1814, the social and cultural institution of reference in Castellón. In the Puerta del Sol building, congresses, conferences, concerts, theatre and opera performances, banquets and large public events of all characteristics have been held. But also, the Club has been home to many social gatherings and associative meetings, where it has been possible to exchange opinions and knowledge plus demonstrate the entrepreneurial, restless and indomitable spirit of the city and province.

The Circulo Industrial de Alcoy (Alcoy’s Industrial Circle) is a cultural institution from Alcoy (Alicante), Valencian Community, founded on January 1, 1868. The aim of the Club was to create an entity that would be a point of meeting for businessmen, entrepreneurs and the Alcoy’s middle class. Also, from its origination it developed socio-cultural aims and activities. The history of Alcoy’s Industrial Circle is a faithful reflection of Alcoy’s economic and industrial history.

The Nuevo Casino’s history goes back more than 150 years. It was founded in 1856 by a group of people who were already members of a society known as ‘Los Doce Pares’. The Casino is a beautiful building designed by architect Maximiliano Hijon, it remains to this day one of the major landmarks on the square. The venue’s main feature is its main hall with high ceilings and magnificent original architecture. There is also a period library along with newly installed dining rooms.

MADRID – Centro Cultural de los Ejércitos de Madrid

This cultural centre, also known as The Military Casino, was inaugurated in 1916 by King Alfonso XIII and has been used for entertainment and recreational purposes since then. It is a private non-profit association that promotes knowledge and cultural development (mainly focused on military history and culture and national defence), with different activities and spaces, such as gaming rooms and a fencing area, which also hosts conferences, congresses, concerts, and exhibitions.

There is also a restaurant open to the public. The Centro Cultural de los Ejércitos is one of the most original buildings on Madrid’s Gran Vía. The ground floor is particularly eye-catching, sumptuously decorated with a large skylight, stained glass windows and art nouveau lamps. It also has an important library specialising in military subjects with publications dating from the 16th and 17th centuries.

The Liceo Casino de Pontevedra was born on February 25, 1855 and constitutes a benchmark in the city of Pontevedra. Its facilities are located in the neighbouring municipalities of Pontevedra and Poio and support cultural, social and sporting activities.

Liceo de Ourense is a cultural and leisure entity, 170 years old, which has its headquarters in a building with its own property, dating from the 16th century. Declared a Bén de Interés Cultural the oldest and oldest civil building preserved in the city.

GALICIA – Casino Ferrolano Tennis Club

In 1850 a group of people took the initiative to form a Society, in order to promote culture, social gatherings and have a place to share idle time, La Tertulia de Confianza. Over the years it changes its name to Casino Ferrolano. The Club occupies 5 floors with  spaces dedicated to leisure and culture and includes a cafeteria and several dining rooms, library, table games room, billiards room, TV room, hairdressing service, podiatry, masseuse, workshop of crafts, as well as a gym for the development of Pilates courses.

In 1983 the merger with the Ferrol Tennis Club was carried out, giving rise to the current Ferrolano-Tennis Club Casino. In its facilities there are 3 tennis courts and 3 paddle tennis courts, playground, swimming pool for adults and children, solarium, as well as cafeteria, restaurant, lounge and TV room.

GALICIA – Sporting Club Casino de la Coruña

The history of the Casino Sporting Club goes back to the year 1890, when a group of about sixty notables from A Coruña got together to materialise their idea of creating a club that emulated the international clubs in fashion at that time. The first objective was to provide the associates with a meeting place and a space for recreation, as well as the promotion of cultural and sports activities.

From the moment of its creation, the head office has been located in the same place on Calle Real, in the heart of the Herculean city. Currently it consists of basement, semi-basement, ground floor and nine upper floors.

For its part, the La Zapateira Sports Park, has twelve hectares of surface and consists of indoor facilities with heated swimming pools and spa, gym, outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, covered paddle tennis courts, indoor multisport sports centre, soccer field and archery, picnic area, playgrounds, large wooded leisure areas and a social building with restaurant and cafeteria.

EXTREMADURA – Sociedad Casino de Badajoz

Casino de Badajoz was founded in 1841 on the initiative of a group of social gatherings, like hundreds of other companies born in the 19th century, it was founded with the purpose of having a social centre for leisure and recreation for its associates. Currently, the Badajoz Casino, adapting to current times, has two buildings, a Social Headquarters in the old town (Calle Ramón Albarrán 14), where you can spend a pleasant time at any time of the day, and a sport club on the outskirts (Urbanización Las Vaguadas), which is eminently sporty.
