The Naval Club is a more than centennial institution born in the city of Valparaíso on April 5, 1885 and founded by a group of marine visionaries eager for cultural endeavours and social exchange in a thriving and pioneering city in Chile.

The Naval Club aims to establish a common social home, based on the traditions, values ​​and doctrines of the Chilean Navy, providing members with a meeting place and opportunities for recreation and entertainment.

The Sara Braun Palace is located in the heart of the Chilean city of Punta Arenas. The palace is one of the most outstanding and representative buildings of the Belle Époque in the Magellan region. Its construction went from 1895 to 1899 and was the residence of Ms. Sara Braun Hamburguer, a distinguished lady of the Magellan high society. The Union Club (Club de la Unión) was founded to preserve this valuable historical and cultural heritage, a palace declared National Historical Monument in 1981.

Facilities include accommodation, bar, restaurant, garden. Open Monday – Saturday from 18.30 – 0300. Letter of introduction required. Guests allowed.

SANTIAGO – Club de la Unión

Founded in 1864, the club is located in the centre of Santiago and covers 6 floors. It has also been declared a National Monument. Facilities include dining rooms and bars, poolrooms, billiards and snooker, a terrace, private rooms, library, swimming pool sauna and gym. Closed on weekends.

*Please note that the area around the Club can be become unsafe in the evening, therefore a taxi is recommended after 8pm
