The Army and Navy Club has a distinguished history since its founding in 1885. Since then, practically every prominent US military and naval officer has been a member, as well as 14 presidents of the US and many Supreme Court justices, senators, representatives and cabinet members. The current Clubhouse opened in 1912 and is located two blocks from The White House.
